**[[title:=Machette]]** is a great, killing, mega, super action ball crushing film directed_by [[directed_by:Robert Rodriguez]] and [[directed_by:Ethan Maniquis]]. It was inspired by fake movie trailer released after [[Director::Quentin Tarantino]]'s [[Movie:Grindhouse]] in [[Year::2007]]. [[Director:Robert Rodriguez]] mades such fantastic movie, that the only reason why didn't receive any Oscars or other, worthless Cannes-like-award, is that Machete is beyond all human festivals.

==Plot==

Machete [[Persons::Danny Trejo]] is a former Mexican Federale who plays by his own rules, and doesn't answer to anybody. In the wake of a harrowing encounter with feared drug lord Torrez [[Actor::Steven Seagal]], Machete finds himself in Texas, where the shadowy Booth [[Actor::Jeff Fahey]] offers him the opportunity to make some quick cash by assassinating the unscrupulous Senator McLaughlin [[Actor::Robert De Niro]]. When the job goes awry and Machete realizes he's been set up, he turns to fierce taco queen Luz [[Actor::Michelle Rodriguez]], heavily armed holy man Padre [[Actor::Cheech Marin]], and trigger-happy socialite April [[Actor::Lindsay Lohan]] to show Booth that he just messed with the wrong Mexican. But before they can get to Booth, Machete's gang will have to contend with blade-wielding ICE agent Sartana [[Actor::Jessica Alba]], who never met an adversary she couldn't flay.
